LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A home surveillance system captured images of a trio of thieves who reportedly broke into several unlocked cars in Bonita Springs last week.

According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, this video was recorded In the overnight and early morning hours of Tuesday, May 30th.

Deputies responded to several instances of vehicle burglaries in the area of Forest Mere Drive in Bonita Springs.  Surveillance video shows at least three men walking around the neighborhood around 2:30 a.m., going from driveway to driveway in search of unlocked cars.  When they approached a car that was locked, they ignored it and moved along to the next one, until they found an unsecured vehicle to rummage through. 

Once gaining entry, the men stole cash, personal identification and other personal items.
