A brush fire in Northeast Cape Coral shut down a section of Del Prado Boulevard between Pine Island Road and south of U.S. 41 for about two hours Thursday.
The five acre fire, which was not threatening any homes, was burning in the Yellow Fever Creek Preserve near the Coral Lakes subdivision.
Just after 12:30, the Caloosahatchee Forestry Center reported the fire is 95% contained.
Several fire crews are still on scene.
Residents are urged to be cautious in the area, as there may be residual smoke and fire equipment on the scene.
