Supporters and donors came out to the 9th annual Gay Pride Celebration in SWFL.
The event took place at the Alliance for the Arts Center in Fort Myers on Saturday.
This year's SWFL Pride is to promote being proud of the unique individuality of all members of the SWFL community, and in so doing promote a mentality of peace, acceptance and love.
The celebration comes just a week after a gun man opened fire in Las Vegas killing 58 people and wounding over 500.
SWFL Pride welcomed service organizations, local and national community organizations, social organizations, area non-profits and many more.
The event continues into Sunday with a dance at Celcius Night Club in downtown Fort Myers.
