Three teenagers have been arrested in connection to the burglary of a Deputy's locked vehicle and stolen weapons, LCSO said on Sunday

A sixteen-year-old and a seventeen-year-old have both been arrested for once count of Burglary to a Conveyance each, and one count of Grand Theft of a Law Enforcement Officer's equipment each. A fourteen-year-old was also arrested, and charged with one count of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Minor, LCSO said.

Undersheriff Carmine Marceno stated, “this crime was against all citizens of Lee County and we will not rest until everyone responsible is brought to justice and we have recovered all stolen items.”

Detectives are still investigating.
