1 injured in downtown Fort Myers shooting

One person was transported to the hospital after he was shot in the shoulder early Saturday morning in downtown Fort Myers, a witness said.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. by a pizza parlor on Hendry Street.

The manger of the pizza parlor tells us that a fight broke out behind his store. One of the men involved in the altercation left and returned with a gun, shooting the victim.

The suspect, 32-year-old Roberto Pacheo was quickly detained and taken into custody.  He has since posted bond and was released on Sunday.

The victim was later located suffering from a non life threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital.
