COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- The Collier County Sheriff's Office is looking for a male suspect whom deputies said held a knife to a female teen's throat as she walked to school Wednesday morning in East Naples.

A Collier County Sheriff Office report said the victim left her house and walked by a 5-foot-10 black male in his early 20's, who was wearing a black sweatshirt and kneeling down on the side of the walking path between Whistler's Creek and the Mannor. As she walked past the male, he stood up and began walking in the opposite direction.

A few seconds later the male quickly approached the teen from behind and held a steak knife to her throat - threatening to slice her if she moved.

Another female came into view as the victim was being forced toward the end of the walking path, which lead to the male letting go of the teen and running away.

A canvas of the area failed to locate the male, deputies will be conducting extra patrols along the walking path for the next several days.
