In police work, no two days are alike.
Just ask Martin County Sheriff's Office Deputy Jason Hickman.
Friday he was dispatched to a call of an alligator chasing children at Lincoln Street and 174th Court in Indiantown.
The deputy, with the help of a trapper, found the rambunctious reptile that measured 4-5 feet.
It was captured and sent to an alligator farm in Okeechobee, according to the sheriff's office.
