A huge number of citizens and community groups came out to alert the public of a need to improve the Affordable Health Care Act.

The rally took place in front of the Collier County Government Complex with a march at Airport Pulling road and US 41 in Naples.

Among the group of people were the Collier Progressives, Collier County Democratic Executive Committee, SWFL Resistance Coalition, Invisible Collier, The Democratic Progressive Club of Lee County, Collier Freedom Movement, Stonecrab Alliance, Collier Congressional Watchdogs, and The Democratic Women's Club of Naples.

Participants say the rally puts elected officials on notice that the public will not tolerate callous attacks on the health and well-being of Americans.

The group says they support Representative John Conyers' recently introduced HR 676, the Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act, a bill that would implement single-payer "Medicare For All'.
