LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -- Three months after a brazen robbery of a Lehigh Acres hotel, deputies are still on the hunt for two masked gunmen who pulled off the robbery.
Police say on November 22nd, the men rushed into the Microtel on Business Way, demanding money. Moments later, one of them jumped the counter and stole money from the register and an employee's purse before taking off.
“Often times, immediately following a violent crime, witnesses or people in the know are hesitant to share information,” said Trish Routte, Crime Stoppers Coordinator. “However some time has passed and these guys are still out there, armed and dangerous. We strongly encourage anyone who has direct or even second hand information on the identities of these men to come forward. No one will ever know you provided a critical tip and your information could help remove two violent offenders from our streets.”
