COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- A Golden Gate Estates man will now spend the next three years in prison after being convicted of a deadly crash back in November.
Jaden Sanchez pleaded no-contest to multiple charges, including DUI manslaughter, for his alleged role in the crash along 3rd Avenue NW.
Deputies say he lost control of his truck and eventually crashed into a canal alongside the road, killing one of his passengers, Jeremiah Hernandez. Two others were seriously hurt.
As part his deal, Sanchez will also serve three years of probation once he's released, and his license will be suspended for 10 years.
