Fort Myers Police investigating bank robbery

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Fifth Third Bank located at 2068 Cleveland Avenue. 

Officials say the robbery happened just before 6pm Friday evening.

A man with a gun entered the bank and demanded money from the teller, he then fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his early to mid 20's,  5'10", with a thin build. He was wearing a blue bandana, gray hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants and black sneakers.
