LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A student at Oak Hammock Middle School in Fort Myers is facing charges for bringing a weapon to school this week.

Lee County deputies say the 13-year-old suspect was carrying a "fight-style butterfly knife" inside his backpack.

The principal searched the student because he recently posted a photo on Instagram showing him posing with a gun inside a school bathroom.
