Fort Myers man arrested for restaurant shooting

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers Police and the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Sawvenance Moise, 32, of Fort Myers for the shooting that happened at the Tropical Creole Restaurant on Fowler Street in March.

Wednesday afternoon the U.S. Marshals task force located and arrested Moise at 3725 Winkler Avenue in Fort Myers.  Moise is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, attempted 2nd degree murder, shooting or throwing a deadly missile into an occupied dwelling and criminal mischief.

“The hard work of investigators to solve this case and the cooperation from the United States Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force in locating Moise were instrumental in removing this violent individual from the streets”, said Chief Dennis Eads.
