Fort Myers 7-Eleven robbed early Wednesday

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Police are looking for help identifying a man they say used a gun to rob a convenience store early Wednesday morning.

According to Fort Myers Police, at 1:30 a.m. a black male armed with a handgun entered the 7-Eleven located at 8920 Colonial Center Drive and demanded money from the register. The perpetrator then fled the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

The black male suspect is described as wearing a long sleeved black shirt, grey or light colored sweatpants, black shoes and black gloves. The suspect covered his face with either a black mask or shirt.
