Former LCSD administrator passes away

LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Four in Your Corner learning a former Lee County school administrator passed away over the weekend. 

Dr. Deedara Hicks died Saturday on East Coast of Florida. 

She left the Lee County School District in 2013 shortly after the arrival of Superintendent Dr. Nancy Graham. Dr. Graham took over with Superintendent Joseph Burke was fired over his handling into whether Dr. Hicks was drunk on the job. 

Dr. Hicks sued the district for discrimination over her firing and received a $27,000 settlement.
