The Collier County Sheriff's Office believes a recent boat fire in Everglades City was intentionally set, and now they're looking for the person responsible.
The fire started around 7 a.m. on Sunday Aug. 7th at the Everglades City docks located at 395 School Drive West. Firefighters found a 41-foot commercial crab boat on fire and it had also drifted away from the dock before eventually sinking in the Barron River.
No one was onboard the vessel and nobody was hurt in the fire.
The Florida State Fire Marshal's Office is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the fire.
