FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed a car believed to be connected to a fatal shooting Monday morning.
According to the Fort Myers Police Department, the black Dodge Charger pictured in a surveillance photo here was seen around 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Monday in the area of Evans Avenue, Parkway Street or Fowler Street.
That's the area where police arrived to find 30-year-old Jamorris Byrd lying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound . He was eventually rushed to the hospital, where he later died.
Detectives would also like to speak to the drivers of the other two vehicles pictured here attachments, believed to be a Ford Expedition and Hyundai. Detectives believe they may have witnessed the homicide.
