UPDATE: Lee County Deputies releasing a description of the suspect in this case. He is described as a black male, between 5'9" and 5"11" with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants.

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -- We're following breaking news from our Breaking News Tracker, where a homicide investigation is under way along Adeline Avenue in Lehigh Acres.
Deputies were called at 5:47 a.m. to the 1100 block of Adeline Avenue, off Centennial Boulevard. That's in the neighborhood south of Buckingham Road and northwest of Lehigh Senior High School.
Family at the scene confirmed that the victim was 29-year-old Jontavious Thomas. They say he was killed in his garage.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office has not released any specific information about what has happened yet, but the scene has attracted a crowd of distraught family members and friends.
Police tape has closed off Adeline Avenue north of the intersection, and several sheriff's office patrol cars are at the scene.
