NAPLES, Fla. -- A Naples woman is dead after a single-vehicle crash on Vanderbilt Beach Road Sunday morning.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, 78-year-old Janet Eash was driving westbound approaching Livingston Road at 7:32 when the crash happened.
Troopers say her SUV drifted onto the north shoulder, crossed over a dry canal bed, over an embankment, and hit an electrical box. Her SUV then overturned, ejecting her from the vehicle.
Eash was pronounced dead at the scene.
