Crews battle structure fire in Fort Myers condo community

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Numerous fire crews responded to a condo fire in the Provincetown community of Fort Myers.

The fire broke out around 6:50 a.m. in the 5800 block of Vancouver Circle.  That's off College Parkway just east of Summerlin Road.

Crews from South Trail Fire Rescue and Iona-McGregor Fire Rescue were able to extinguish the fire in about 40 minutes.

Residents in one unit were able to evacuate themselves, and the other three units were unoccupied.  There were no injuries in the fire.

The Red Cross responded to assist the displaced family.
