Southbound I-75 moving again after Fort Myers crash

UPDATE (11AM) -- FHP reports all lanes of southbound I-75 are open again after a crash this morning caused the closure of two lanes.


FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Florida Highway Patrol is on the scene on Interstate 75, where two southbound lanes are closed due to a crash with injuries.

The crash happened just before 9 a.m. Monday near mile marker 135 in Fort Myers, just south of the Colonial Boulevard exit (#136).

FHP says the right and center southbound lanes are closed.

As of 10 a.m. the Fox 4 Traffic page showed a 3-mile backup on the interstate.
