FORT MYERS, Fla. — Planet Fitness says it will require all guests to wear masks inside their club at all times starting August 1st.
“At Planet Fitness, our #1 priority is the health and safety of our members and team members. As part of our commitment to bringing you a squeaky clean and safe fitness environment, we’ve enhanced our existing cleanliness policies and procedures, which we hope you’ve seen and experienced since returning to our clubs. Today, we wanted to update you on an important step we’re taking to enhance our current mask policy.”
Planet Fitness says they will provide masks if you should forget one.
The gym noted that if you have a medical exception that prohibits you from wearing a mask or prefer not to use the gym while masks are required, reach out to them.
They will freeze your membership until they are no longer require masks in their clubs.
