TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — As COVID-19 vaccines continue to make their way around the country, thousands have been vaccinated for the Coronavirus right here in Florida.
The Florida Department of Health said as of 7 a.m. Saturday, a total of 32,707 have been vaccinated for the virus. As of this afternoon, there are 5,086 hospitalizations in the state as a result of the virus.
Health officials reported an additional 11,682 cases of COVID-19 Saturday, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases in Florida to 1,193,165.
It's important to note that the health department doesn't report how many have recovered from the virus.
