MIAMI, Fla.-- Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody is investigating Norwegian Cruise Lines over claims sales staff were misleading customers concerned with COVID-19.
According to the Attorney General's office, a whistle-blower said the cruise line told its sales staff to downplay the risks of getting Coronavirus on a cruise ship.
The report says customers were told statements like "the only thing you need to worry about for your cruise is do you have enough sunscreen," and "the Coronavirus can only survive in cold temperatures, so the Caribbean is a fantastic choice for your next cruise."
