NAPLES, Fla. — Collier County passed a mask resolution until September 3rd during their meeting last week.
The county's mandate only addressed unincorporated areas of Collier County.
Cities like Naples and Marco Island had the opportunity to opt into the county's order.
However, Naples City Council Members decided not to partake in the mask order.
"We would like to spend money toward education on a marketing campaign, on wearing masks, social distancing, and washing hands" Penny Taylor, Collier Co. Commissioner Dist. 4.
