NAPLES, Fla -- Many people have reconnected with nature amid the pandemic. That connection and the importance of it is on display with Naples Artist Carmelo Blandino's latest exhibition Convergence.

Through Wednesday, the artist is doing live paintings at Naples Botanical Garden in Kapnick Hall. It's happening from 11am-5pm daily.

Visitors will have the chance to ask the artist any questions, while watching him paint.

Blandino was given exclusive access to the Garden and its staff to source material, creating on-site studies and sketches for his new body of work, shown in the exhibition Convergence. The large-scale, mixed-media paintings feature flora and fauna in their various stages of magnificent beauty and delicate vulnerability. These paintings reflect human connection to nature and communicate the urgency of our role in its preservation.
