Lee County tells spring breakers to go home

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Lee County Commissioners and several other officials held a meeting today addressing COVID-19.

Lee County Commissioners is urging spring breakers to go home. They addressed the parents of those spring breakers to get them to go home.

The county reiterated that all beaches are closed along with all beach access and restrooms.

The Lee County Clerk of Courts stressed that they are having limited public access to their customer service counters. They are asking the public to use their online services.

They are allowing a 60 day extension on all payments due to the court.

Both the Bonita Springs and Cape Coral Clerk of Courts offices will be closed until further notice.

All business will be conducted at their Fort Myers location.

The Lee County Tax Collectors office also reiterated that they have closed their face to face operations.
