FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. — Fort Myers Beach had an emergency meeting today at 1 pm to discuss updates.
As of midnight tonight, all hotels and lodging on Fort Myers Beach must cancel all reservations for the next 90 days.
If someone is currently staying, they can finish their stay but cannot extend.
Fort Myers Beach Town Council is urging people to stay at home and to limit interaction and travel.
