ESTERO, Fla. — In a statement issued to FOX 4 on Wednesday, April 1st, Target confirmed that one of their employees has tested positive for coronavirus.
The person works at the Coconut Point location in Estero.
According to the retailer, that employee is in quarantine and following all heath department guidelines.
"We’ve also worked quickly to deep clean and sanitize the store, which is the recommendation of public health experts. We have notified the entire store team and provided them with the appropriate CDC guidance. We’ll continue to first and foremost take care of our team and guests."
The company also says the employee will be paid while on leave.
