COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — The Collier County Commissioners have passed a motion to modify beach operating hours.

The new hours will go into effect on the 4th of July weekend, the 3rd, 4th, and 5th.

Beaches will be open from 7 am to 11 am and reopen from 5 pm to sunset.

These restrictions will be in place until Dade and Broward counties open their beaches.

There are no restrictions on what the public would like to bring to the beach.

Parking is also restricted to parking stickers only.
