PUNTA GORDA, Fla. — City of Punta Gorda Council members voted to extend an ordinance regarding face masks.
The ordinance required face masks to be worn indoor and places where social distancing is not possible.
Council members wanted to change the mask ordinance from being mandatory to be suggested to be in line with what the County is doing.
City Council will have another meeting with public comment and two readings on October 21.
