NAPLES, Fla. -- Pine Ridge Middle School has been placed a on 'Code Yellow' lockdown, according to Collier County Schools.
A message was sent out to parents, informing them that students are being kept in the building and are able to continue normal activities within the school.
The lockdown is due to some vague social media chatter being reported to the sheriff's office, which is being investigated.
Parents will be notified when the lockdown is lifted.
