NAPLES, Fla. (AP) - Coast Guard officials have rescued a pair of boaters who went missing Saturday.
Collier County Sheriff's deputies said father and son, Juan Martinez Sr. and Juan Martinez Jr., were supposed to return by 8 p.m. The pair were onboard a 22-foot white and gold Bayliner that left from a boat ramp in Naples around noon.
Coast Guard officials flew over the waters and spotted the boaters Sunday about 25 miles west of Marco Island. Officials brought the two to shore. No other details were released.
