The Coast Guard rescued three boaters after their 30-foot boat took on water.

It happened just 3 miles west of Clearwater Pass at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.

The USCG say watch standers in St, Petersburg received a call from the boaters who say they were taking water and in need of emergency assistance.

A 45-foot Response Boat-Medium boat crew from Station Sand Key arrived to the scene and began to dewater the boat.

The crew then placed the 30-foot boat in tow and transported the boaters and the boat to Largo Intercoastal Marina.
