CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- The Storm Prediction Center has increased the chance of severe weather for South Florida and Inland areas of Southwest Florida from marginal to slight.
The dynamics of the atmosphere are still playing in our favor keeping the risk relatively low. If there happens to be any breaks in the clouds, that additional sunshine could lead to an increase in the instability and the further strengthening of thunderstorms followed an increase to the potential for tornadoes.
