LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- The search is on tonight for two men accused of trying to get cash from a Fort Myers AutoZone for an item stolen during a Lehigh Acres car burglary.
Detectives say back on December 5th, someone stole a subwoofer, an amplifier, and a new wheel bearing still in the box from a car parked on East 15th Street in Lehigh.
A few hours later, two men reportedly tried to return the wheel bearing at the AutoZone on Palm Beach Boulevard, but an employee deemed this suspicious and refused to refund cash.
Anyone with information on the identification of the persons of interest are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
