CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- New signs could be popping up around town reminding you to lock your car doors.
This happening after Cape Coral Police say just this weekend a neighbor caught a teen breaking into a car along SW 3rd Avenue. The neighbor chased them down until officers arrived and arrested them.
Police say most break-ins involve unlocked cars.
A sign urging you to lock your doors is now on display outside the department headquarters, and police say they plan to start putting them in people's yards.
