A Cape Coral man is accused of growing marijuana in his den, near the room where his infant slept.
Orbe Cesar was arrested by Cape Coral police early Monday morning after police served a warrant in Cesar's home located near Oasis High School on SW 37th Terrace in Cape Coral.
Investigators say they found more than a dozen marijuana plants in the den of the home and a small growing operation with special lights and other items used to package marijuana. Also found in the same room, diapers and other items used to care for a baby.
Cesar told police he lived in the home with his girlfriend and their baby. He's facing multiple felony charges in relation to producing drugs and marijuana.
He remains in custody on $40,000 bond.
State investigators with DCF are now also investigating this incident.
