Friday is Veterans Day, and one of the biggest veterans day parades in Southwest Florida is happening in Cape Coral.
The 2016 Cape Coral Veterans Day Parade begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m..
It starts at SE 47th Terrace between SE 8th Court and SE 15th Place in downtown Cape Coral.
A reviewing stand will be located at SE 10th Place where Courtney Perna, co-host of Fox 4's "The Morning Blend" will serve as the parade's emcee.
According to the city, over 1,000 people of all ages and all walks of life participate in the parade, and thousands line the busy street in the South Cape to pay their respects to those who have served our country.
