CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A single-vehicle crash left one dead in Cape Coral Saturday evening.
It happened just before 7pm Saturday in the 2200 block of Nelson Road, just south of Kismet Parkway.
Police say the driver, 34 year-old Milton Navarro was headed south when he lost control of his car and hit a mailbox. His car then hit a concrete culvert and went airborne then flipped onto its roof when it landed in an empty lot.
He died from his injuries at the scene.
It's unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the traffic crash.
