CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Police arrested a Cape Coral man early Wednesday morning after he allegedly fired a gun towards another man.
According to Cape Coral Police, officers responded to a shot fired call located at an apartment building on Manor Court in South Cape during the early morning hours on Wednesday.
An investigation revealed that 20-year-old Jake Ledain is suspected of firing a shot at his victim, who was attempting to get back into his residence after an argument between the two.
According to witnesses Ledain fled the scene prior to officer’s arrival.
Cape Coral Police tracked down Ledian and placed him under arrest at his residence in the 1400 block of SW 3rd Avenue in Cape Coral.
Ledian was charged with Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon and Shooting into a dwelling.
