FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Lee County Transit, in partnership with the Fort Myers Police Department and Lee Memorial Health System, is offering free bus passes to all those who successfully donate blood Wednesday, July 27, in support of the Fort Myers community after the tragic shootings Monday morning.
Blood donors will receive their pass after donating 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, on the Purple Bloodmobile at the Fort Myers Police Department, 2210 Widman Way, Fort Myers, FL 33901.
The Fort Myers Police Department is located across the street from LeeTran’s Rosa Parks Transfer Center. The bus pass a donor receives is a free one-trip pass; passes are limited to one per person.
All blood donated at Lee Memorial Blood Center locations and on the Purple Bloodmobile stay in Lee County. For more information, donors can call 239-343-2333.
