NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. – An early morning blaze is now out at an abandoned home in North Fort Myers.
Neighbors capturing the impressive blaze on camera after hearing the commotion around 3:30 Monday morning at the home in the 1200 block of McNeill Road near Pondella Road.
The North Fort Myers Fire Department says crews did not find anyone inside the home after a sweep of the ruins.
The department says the abandoned home is not connected to an electrical source so they are working to figure out how a fire started there.
The remaining structure is a total loss and is expected to be completely demolished later Monday.
