LEE COUNTY, Fla., - Lee County Supervisor of Elections Sharron Harrington confirms 69% of registered voters in Lee County have already voted in this election, the majority from early voting and absentee ballots.
Many voters in Southwest Florida calling this election cycle unlike any other.
"I haven't been this excited in 40 years," said Denise Raszka, a Trump supporter.
"I've never in my life since I've lived in this country heard how they insult each other, how they talk to each other," said Clara Roldan, who voted for Clinton.
Some voters letting it go down to the wire before making a decision on either candidate.
"It was hard for me to determine which candidate was the perfect one for us," Glenn Dalmau.
Voters who turned out on Election Day in Lee County saw relatively shorter lines than in 2012.
"It's gone extremely well. We haven't heard any disruptions out in the general public or protests or any voter intimidation," said Harrington.
