The Florida Department of Education released preliminary school grades Friday, and overall, Southwest Florida districts fared pretty well.
As far as overall district grades go, Lee County maintained a "B" for 2015, Collier improved to an "A", and Charlotte improved to a "B."
Meanwhile, DeSoto and Hendry both earned a "C" up from "D"s in 2014.
The only Southwest Florida district to lose a grade was Glades, which dropped to a "C" from a "B."
