FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Bottoms up! If you want to try something different, a Southwest Florida school is filling up your cup with their very own wine!
Florida Gulf Coast University is making and offering two types of wine: a Chardonnay and a red blend, as part of the Florida Gulf Coast University Collection. The school says they were inspired to have their own collection after they saw other universities doing it.
Thursday night the school offered a wine tasting of the collection.
The school does have a wine tasting class you can join. You can also buy a bottle of your own. On average they cost about $25 a bottle, and shipping depends on your location.
