NAPLES, Fla. -- A bicyclist is in serious condition after being hit by a car in Collier County. Florida Highway Patrol is still trying to determine who's to blame.
The crash happened at 10:50 PM at the intersection of Davis Boulevard and Shadowlawn Drive.
Troopers say the bicyclist was southbound on Shadowlawn and attempted to cross Davis Boulevard in the crosswalk but was hit by an eastbound sedan.
The bicyclist, 43-year-old Eduardo Naberrete of Naples, says according to the traffic signal he had a green light and the right of way. But the driver involved said she also had a green light while approaching the intersection.
Troopers say due to the conflicting reports and no witnesses, it's hard to tell who's at fault.
