LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Troopers have arrested a Port Charlotte man following an investigation into a fatal crash on Interstate 75 last year.
50-year-old Ronald Bray was arrested Tuesday morning and booked into the Lee County Jail for causing a crash that killed 29-year-old Brooke Fenton in November.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, on November 17th, Bray was driving recklessly southbound on I-75 just past the Colonial Boulevard exit. That's where he swerved into the path of Fenton's car, causing her to swerve off the road and crash into a tractor trailer that was stopped on the road's shoulder.
Fenton died at the scene.
Bray is facing charges of Reckless Driving, Vehicular Homicide, and Leaving the Scene of a Crash Involving Death. He is being held on no bond.
