A small but loud crowd marched through downtown Naples Thursday, calling for the Electoral College to reverse their votes for President-Elect Donald Trump.
Electors are scheduled to gather Monday to formally certify the election. The electors represent every state, and are bound to vote for which ever candidate won their state.
"We go to other countries and say: One person, one vote, but in this country, we are not having that," said Erica Ferrari, of the Collier Freedom Movement.
Ferrari and members of the group were unfazed by people along 5th Avenue who heckled them. Some shouted "Trump won" or "Go home."
She says the Collier Freedom Movement is also upset about report from the CIA saying Russia may have interfered with the election.
"What was Trump saying: If I win, I'll accept the results, but if I don't win, I'm going to reject it," said Ferrari. "Well, we are doing the same thing he was promoting, when he said the election was rigged, I agree."
The group is emailing several electors around the country who are considering changing their vote. They would need 37 of them to switch in order to keep President-Elect Donald Trump out of the White House.
