U.S Representative Curt Clawson won't seek reelection.
Clawson says he wants to spend more time with his family.
His mother passed away in July.
The Republican lawmaker only served one full term representing Southwest Florida.
Clawson says he will serve out the remainder of his term, which expires in January.
